While Vancouver Island, BC, Canada is the place we call "home", my wife and I are currently living a nomadic lifestyle, moving with the seasons, and slowly exploring Canada, the U.S. and Mexico in our truck and travel trailer. Traveling full-time affords the opportunity to more deeply experience the subtleties of culture that draw us together and to create deeper connection with the places we visit and people we meet.
Photography is one of the ways I explore the relationship between landscape, geography, and culture that combine to create a “sense of place” – that experiential and expressive way places are known, imagined, yearned for, held, remembered, voiced, and lived.
